Joanne graduated from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia with a BSc in Physiotherapy and has been practicing since 2014. She has worked in a variety of settings, including orthopaedic rehabilitation hospitals and for sports teams, especially in soccer and Aussie Rules football. She has found her passion in helping people with musculoskeletal issues.
She has a strong belief in holistic management, utilising her skills in manual therapy and dry needling to help get patients moving again and empowering patients to become stronger through her knowledge of exercise prescription. She has completed her Pilates accreditation through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and loves implementing it in her work. She has a keen interest in lower back and shoulder conditions.
Joanne likes to go hiking and bouldering in her spare time. She enjoys spending time with friends, especially cooking for them, and is very passionate about travelling the world.
