My mother was referred to Surrey physio by her GP at Balham Park Surgery.
She has been suffering from chronic back pain and severe pains shooting down her glutes and the back of her thighs. The pain was excruciating and
We started our sessions with Tommy Flanagan who, I have to say was amazing. He asked all the right questions to determine where the original problem
stemmed from and accordingly worked on the areas required.
The results have been brilliant and although not cured, my mother is responding well. With the exercise plans that were provided her mobility has improved
Tommy was kind, respectful and professional in his approach with my mother who is elderly and partially sighted and I am grateful for the improvement the
sessions have made to my mothers quality of life and overall well-being.
Yasmin, daughter of Mrs Hasniani
Tim and Peter have
been very efficient in dealing with my problems and helping me to obtain optimum fitness. I have also
been most impressed with the efficiency and courtesy of the helpful staff at the clinic for the past 2
I highly recommend Surrey Physio to anyone who want to be cared for by a team of professionals who are also sympathetic, and enthusiastic about the nature of treatment and the well being of their patients.
Forrester Osei, (2016 Commonwealth Champion)
I have been
coaching track sprinters for more than forty years now from club level through to World Championships
and the Olympic Games. Over that time the availability of therapy either for body maintenance or
rehabilitation from injury has been the most critical component of securing athlete success. It has
also become very clear that there are very few in the profession capable of delivering a world class
service to athletes aspiring to compete alongside the best. Tim Allardyce and his staff have repeatedly
proved they are not only up for this challenge, but have provided exemplary support for many of my
athletes over recent years, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, whether aspiring
international athlete, or simply someone needing expert treatment or advice.
John V. Powell MBE, FRSA
Thank you for
referring me to Maria for physiotherapy treatment. My neck feels 95% better than it has in a long
time. Not only is she a lovely person, but she has magic fingers.
Cheryl Boxell, Roehampton
I have been
receiving my treatment at your Mitcham clinic and I have to say, it has been superb so far. The
reception staff are extremely friendly and the waiting time is minimal.
My physiotherapist Matthew is exceptional, he is friendly and forthcoming, his knowledge of treatments is vast and so he really knows what he is doing - a real asset and an invaluable member of your team in my opinion.
patient/client of yours, I am writing to let you know that I have found Jack Garland & Emily
Parry’s Physio and Sports massage treatment excellent. I was referred to Surrey Physio by my
Orthopedic Surgeon Mr M Kotrba (who practices at St Anthony’s hospital and NHS Croydon Hospital)
after having CT & MRI scans, and diagnosed with severe sciatica (lower back – bulging disc).
I started my therapy with Jack and was seeing him twice a week from September to December. I found his sessions always relieving and his advice on what to do ‘at home’ extremely helpful with my ongoing recuperation. I also started sports massage therapy with Emily around November. From my three sessions per week before Christmas, I am now (March) down to one – 1 hour session every three weeks with Emily, where she applies her skills in Physio coupled with sports massage therapy in the same session.
When I first visited Surrey Physio I could hardly drive to the clinic let alone walk, today (5th March) I actually walked 30 minutes to the clinic from my home, and back again!I would highly recommend Surrey Physio to anyone, and would suggest to any person reading this, not to hesitate a minute in arranging a session. The Registrar to Mr Kotbra said the combination of ‘at home’ exercise and physio/massages has been the main reason I have been able to avoid surgery (in my case). I know I am still in recovery, and I have been told by my Consultant that it could still take 6 months to a year before the pain fully subsides, but looking to the future I am very hopeful for a full recovery, and I am already back in the gym/pool therapy swimming (3 times a week, under the guidance and recommendation set out to me by Jack & Emily). A huge and sincere thank you
I have been
having excellent treatment in Balham from Maria. She is comprehensive in her manner enabling me to
get informative information about her treatment plan and what she intends to do. I am very happy
with the treatment I have received so far, although sore I know I will improve; I trust her!
you pass on my praise to Mr J Wilson. He is a member of your Physio team. When Jamie treated me
at the Croydon office. He was very professional in his work. The treatment he gave me help to an
early recovery and save me from a lot of time off work. He even gave me advise and exercises for
me to do at home which helped with my sleeping and pain relief. He is a great asset to your team
and I will be recommending the surgery. Should you have a feedback form or survey, I would be more
than happy to fill it in.
My name's Alex
and I'm undergoing physiotherapy with Jamie. He's very professional and friendly. I like the fact
that he explains everything to me regarding my condition and helped a lot with my knees, shoulders,
neck and back pain. I couldn't desire a better physio and already report the improvements to my GP.
Thanks to Jamie and Surrey Physio.
Hope you had
a nice weekend. My physiotherapy is Maria Panagiotidou I have seen her two times and will be seeing
her again. she is very good thanks to her my back is feeling better. Before I saw Maria I went to
a private physiotherapy they made it worst even though they charge an arm and a leg . That was that
the reason I went to see my GP I am glad I did since been see by Maria my back is getting better.
I will recommend Maria to all my friends.
had a series of physio sessions with Jamie Wilson. Before the physio, I was in a lot of discomfort
and unable to sleep or move around properly without pain. Now, after the sessions, I am practically
back to normal. Jamie is the best-ever physio and it's a brilliant service to have at the doc's
surgery. Thanks so much.
it is essential to provide feedback on services received, whether the feedback be positive or
negative in nature. I have often been the recipient of services which I have considered inadequate
and shameful. Therefore, whenever I receive services which are of a very high standard, I consider
it essential to bring this to the attention of those in high position, such as yourself.
I therefore wish to take this opportunity to thank Surrey Physio and in particular the physiotherapy services which I received from your excellent physiotherapist, Kione Wilkins, at Mitcham Physio. I believe the physiotherapy which I received from Kione was of an exceptionally high standard, as he not only provided me with physical therapy, but also with essential advice, outstanding support and brilliant exercise techniques to use at home. Kione was sensitive, understanding and respectful at all times.
In 2013,I was hit from behind with such force, that my vehicle was pushed straight into the rear of the vehicle in front of me, as both myself and the driver in front were waiting at the traffic lights for the green light to show before proceeding. Therefore, during the collision, my body was pushed backwards and then forwards during the incident. This was not a nice experience for me, physically or psychologically. I was subsequently referred to Surrey Physio. Thanks to Surrey Physio and the expert treatment received from my physiotherapist, Kione, this experience proved invaluable to me and my confidence in physiotherapy has indeed been restored. I had 8 physiotherapy sessions with Kione, as advised by my insurers and I am pleased that I went through with this treatment which has helped me greatly in my recovery and rehabilitation. I could not have done this without the help of Surrey Physio and especially with Kione’s intervention.
Also, the reception staff at Mitcham Physio were always polite, helpful and friendly towards me each time I attended the clinic, which was such welcoming sight for patients like myself and which further shows the professional organisation which Surrey Physio is.
I am sending you this letter by both email and by post, in order to ensure its safe delivery. Thank you once again for everything and do pass on my very best wishes also to Kione.
I am pleased
to say that my treatment by your company and in particular your physio, Jamie has been top notch.
From the beginning of my treatment Jamie’s customer care has been excellent, showing at all times
genuine interest and concern with my case.
By accurately assessing my injuries his treatment and advice thereafter has proved to be first class and I would have no hesitation in recommending both Jamie and also your company to my colleagues, friends and family. A very well done sir!!
wanted to take the opportunity to thank Matt and Kione for the wonderful treatment our family
received following a car accident. We always felt totally at ease and comfortable, it was a
pleasure attending each and every session! And always greeted with a smile from your receptionist.
My daughter Chantel who was treated by Kione has always had an interest in becoming a physiotherapist and after receiving such wonderful care from your team she's extremely serious about this career path. Just entered year 10 and chosen science subjects, health and social care and sports as GCSE options. Thank you again!
Lisa Kinghorn (Chantel's mum), Gwen Kinghorn, Chantel Brown and Natasha Davy
quick email to give you my feedback on the physio treatment I have just receive. I was referred
by my doctor (at the Border Practice) following an appointment on Tuesday 3rd September. I
am training for a charity cycle ride in Vietnam & Cambodia leaving on 5th October, and I’m
suffering from “Runner’s Knee”. You can imagine how pleased I was to get a telephone call on
the Wednesday morning offering me an appointment at the newly opening office at the Border
Surgery for that afternoon!
I have now completed my 4 NHS sessions with Ben and, although the knee is not right (yet), it is definitely much better than it was! He has given me a list of exercises and stretches to do, and is confident that I should be okay (if not perfect) for my cycle ride.
I’d just like to say thank you for a wonderful service! I will be sure to recommend you to anyone who has need of a physio – and if I need it when I get back, I just might be back myself! Thanks again.
I had an
accident at work on 22nd July and broke both bones in my right ankle. I attended St Helier
hospital in Carshalton and had reconstructive surgery the following day. Further Out Patient
appointments were at Epsom District Hospital. After seven weeks the cast was removed and I was
given a walking boot and was using a walking stick. I went on a two week holiday expecting to
receive information about Physiotherapy on my return. No letter was waiting for me, and to date
I have still not received any appointments from the hospital.
I went to see Dr Chang at The Border Practice, Aldershot at 10.15am on Thursday 26th September and asked what should be happening. She said that she would arrange Physio for me. Some time between 11.00am and 12.30pm that same day I received text from your establishment asking me to call. I called and arranged an appointment for the very next day at 12 noon and have now had two sessions.
I am extremely impressed with the speed at which I was offered help and Ben has worked wonders on my ankle. Within a week I have improved to the extent that I am walking 90% normally. I have nothing but praise for your organisation.
I have been
receiving treatment for sciatica with Ben in Aldershot, not only is the treatment working but Ben
is the most pleasant person and very good, he seems to be able to find just the right spot with
strong fingers, he is always on time never chats and waste time as he chats while working, I have
had four treatments with two to go, and each week I am more comfortable.
Just wanted to give some feedback on my recent physio sessions which were excellent. The waiting
time was really short - I got an appointment within a week and were in a convenient local location
The sessions really made a huge difference. The process of booking and confirming appointments was
efficient and effective. All in all a terrific service.
"My first visit
to Surrey Physio was simply great, I have been to Frimley Park Hospital previously but wow what
a difference. Ben was fabulous listened to what I had to say and has given me exercises for
stretching which in this short time of 2 days really has made a difference already. No waiting
time at all seen within 2 minutes of arriving and at a time after work that makes my life easy.
Thank you to you all for once I am looking forward to my next visit. I will not go to anyone else
so pleased to have found you.
Mark Ellwood - Giffard Drive Surgery
I have had
three Physio appointments with Jamie at Balham Park Surgery and I am so very pleased with the
the quality of service I have received from him, and would most definitely recommend him to
anyone requiring physio.
Unfortunately I only have one more appointment and will certainly miss the help and friendly advice that he has given me to ease the pain in my back as I have spondylolisthesis.
I will certainly be telling my GP how pleased I am with Jamie and the help he has been to me.
I would just
like to say a big THANK YOU for being able to attend Surrey Physio for NHS treatment of my tennis
elbow. It has helped me greatly and the root of the problem has been identified and has been treated
as well. I cannot praise the treatment I have received highly enough and I hope this service will
continue so that both I and others will be able to receive pyshio treatment when needed. This type
of treatment is very expensive and many are not able to pay for it themselves and as such, do not
have it although it is maybe just what is needed to solve their problem. Once again, thank you.
I would just
like to say that I thought the service I received was excellent, and very beneficial.
I like the idea that you can attend Physio in your own surgery this makes the process so much easier and comfortable. I was made to feel like I was important, and not just someone in a cubicle which is the general feeling at FPH. I cant say I "enjoyed" the experience but as they say no pain no gain and now that I have finished my course I feel 98% better. I would just like to thank you and will certainly contact you again should I require your services.
I have been
extremely impressed and happy with the service I have received from Surrey Physio via my GP.
Within 5 days of being referred I had received a call to set up my first appointment. My physio
is Matt, based at the Border Practice in Aldershot and he has been brilliant. His explanation
of what my injury is has been clear and he has demonstrated where the problems lie. The exercises
and massage he has given me have helped, and with regard to future appointments, he has been very
accommodating to fit in around work and other commitments.
I have nothing but praise for Surrey Physio and consider myself fortunate to have been referred to them.
I wish to
say how extremely pleased I am with my recent treatment for lower back pain . I am 65 years old
,male ,I firstly visited a chiropractor when my back flared up . no good at all just expensive
.Then I was recommended to Surrey Physio . I was treated by a young man named Martin, friendly
professional but above all the treatment and exercises he recommended actually eased my problem.
Not just for a day after treatment but until the next visit. 2 weeks later. I have had just 3
visits so far and am probably more mobile that I was before my recent back problem . I would
strongly recommend surrey phiso Ask for MARTIN.
" Just to
say a big thank you for the work that you did on my elbow. We played six rounds of golf in
Spain and I had no pain. The elbow feels a lot better. 32 miles over box hill this weekend
on the bike and no problems whatsoever.
" I went
to see Ben today, thoroughly expecting to go through the "same old same old" pain management
like I had for the past few decades. I couldn't have been more wrong! Instead of poking me
with pins (acupuncture), he got down to business and worked on my back and I mean he properly
worked on it. He manipulated my spine, making the upper back click and gave me the exercises
on top of the ones I've been doing already from past physio sessions with other people.
I am so pleased to have this wonderful expert service right on my doorstep.
Doctor Bajwa from The Border Practise on the Surrey Hants border referred me about two weeks ago, which is ANOTHER wonderful thing that I appreciate, it's hard to get a good physio that will see you week after week so you can build on the success and progress from the week before. I am totally impressed and very optimistic with my treatment and the progress that will come of it. It was a completely different approach to other physio's I've seen. For me, it is crucial to get treatment quickly after a back spasm, just under two weeks it was this time. In the past at other physio's its' been nearly six weeks.
I have also phoned the GP practise to laud and praise the Surrey Physio team. I am already much more optimistic for the future!
I have been
extremely impressed with my physio. I went to my GP for shoulder pain and was referred to
yourselves. I got an appointment very quickly and was seen within days of my initial phone
call. Staff were friendly and my appointment was on time, no waiting around. Very impressed
and think you all do a great job.
just finished my first course of physio with Ben Coffey at the Border Practice in Aldershot.
I am very happy with the service I received and will highly recommend your services to my GP.
Ben was extremely knowledgeable and was very accommodating regarding times I could attend.
Once I had been referred I emailed Ben who contacted your office and I had an appointment
booked very quickly. Ben is sending a report to my GP and recommending a second course of physio
because my problem is definitely improved, but requires more work. Ben is extremely professional,
was never running late and an asset to your company. My overall rating is 9.5/10
very pleased to be receiving physio from Ben Coffey under this scheme. He is really
helping me with a long term injury problem which has been affecting my ability to walk.
Walking is fundamental. I walk for pleasure and fitness and it is both difficult and
demoralising to be incapacitated. Ben has been working on my legs and I am regaining
mobility and with it my spirits are lifting. But it does hurt! Still, no pain, no gain.
I have already passed your details to several of my friends and will tell my doctor when I next see her.
I was referred to physiotherapy via my GP, Dr E Warr at Giffard Drive Surgery, Farnborough.
Having suffered some piriformis pain my GP kindly referred me to physio at the Surgery. I am
currently in training for the Brighton Marathon this April and as I work full-time in the
fitness industry, including teaching fitness, I do many hours of exercise each week.
I recently attended an appointment with Ben Coffey which I have found really helpful. The treatment received so far has helped relieve some of the discomfort/pain.
Ben has given me homework :-)........ so I am doing my stretches daily, which is helping. I am due to see Ben again soon.
currently undergoing physio with Ben Coffey at Borders In Aldershot - I saw him back in
Oct / Nov with pregnancy related SPD and have been seeing him since Jan of this year for
postnatal back / hip pain.
With the first treatment, my SPD improved greatly and this time I am finding my symptoms improving although it feels as though it is taking longer (maybe accounting to my one-year old getting heavier with each passing day!)
I've never had to wait much beyond a few days, I find Ben very helpful and friendly - even if sometimes I go away feeling slightly beaten up! I would definitely recommend your services and it is extremely convenient having such a close location.
Mrs Liz Young
received a few sessions of treatment back in the summer and completed a short course that
ended today. My physio Ben has been very good and helped me regain back more mobility by
loosening off tight muscles in my back and after nearly a year if suffering with sciatica
it has finally eased.
I will continue to follow his recommended exercises when i can and enjoy being able to walk a bit further and faster improving all the time hopefully. Thanks you for the service which was much appreciated and conveniently located at my dr's surgery which was a bonus.
time I had my MRI scan on my lower back and went back to my doctors for my results within
about a week I had an appointment with Ben Coffey,I have had 4 sessions with Ben so far and
he has done wonders with my back, Ben has given me some exercises to do to help loosen up
my back and take the pressure off my trapped nerve.
It is now
some 14 weeks since the successful operation on my left shoulder for what turned out to be
three tendons requiring repair. Thank you so much for referring me to Ben Coffey of Surrey
Physio for follow up physiotherapy. I have had six sessions with Ben, and paid privately for
a further two. The manipulation during these sessions, and the exercises he has given me to
perform daily have been excellent to such an extent that I have already regained near full
mobility. Ben has indicated that there is very little more he can now do for me, but to see
him again should I feel the need to. I am continuing with the stretching exercises, and
attend the gym four times a week aiming to build up my upper body strength, and general
fitness. Once again many thanks for your help when I decided to become a medical tourist,
and for the excellent referral for the physiotherapy. Many thanks.
Thank you very much for your email, I am delighted to be part of the private scheme. Follows
my feedback: I have had septicemia last year which destroyed my higher back, my heart and my
brain. After my heart operation, I was not able to use my left side, I was in constant pain.
I have been followed by the physio, Ben from The Border Practice Surgery in Aldershot, he has
helped me to get back to my life, have now recover about 95% of my left side and am in a lot
less pain. Ben has changed my life. He is absolutely brilliant. Always on time, greatly mannered,
I would not change a thing.
Recently had a huge pain in the hip area as was recommended by specialist in hospital to do some physio at hospital. I did not hesitate and decided to come back to the Border practice because I knew that Ben helped so much last time, so I went back. I intent to continue seeing Ben regularly as needed, after my session already booked, but this time through my private health. Many thanks
to say thanks. My Doc from the Aldershot Border Practice referred me to you on the 27th July
and my initial appointment was made for the 18th August. I was seen for four weekly sessions
from 8th Sept to 29th September. I am now waiting for an assessment on the 27th September.
As I teach little ones in the special need sector, I was on holiday in August. The neck issues
were serious and prevented me from doing many of my jobs, driving and sleeping due to excruciating
pain. My neck issues had begun as a 12 year old where I dislocated/ slipped a disc requiring
immediate emergency manipulation but with no follow up. I have suffered neck issues since then
for most of my life. This is the first time a Doc has referred me for Physio. I can't believe how
free my neck feels. I can't ever remember feeling like this. I have nothing but praise and thanks
for the service I have received to date.
Many thanks and a particularly big thanks to Ben Coffey for his professional care.
Mrs. Helen Kathleen Preece
My name is
Michal Lis and I have been Ben Coffey's patient for the past few weeks. I would like to say
that I am very happy with the service I received. The treatment really helped me and I haven't
felt this good in almost a year. Mr Coffey was very helpful, he explained my condition to me and
showed me numerous exercises I can do at home to improve further. He also gave me his email
address and encouraged me to ask him any questions I may still have.
Overall I am very happy with the experience and am very grateful to Mr Coffey.
FAO Dr Ian
Stuart, Giffard Drive Surgery, I have been troubled for the last twelve months by a trapped
nerve in my neck/left shoulder and Ben's treatment from August to Decemeber have brought months
of discomfort and broken sleep to an end. A consummate professional, he went straight to the nub
of the problem and I'm very grateful. I very warmly commend Surrey Physio's service.
Hi there, I
just want to say a massive thank you to Holli, who has been helping me with my knee over the
last 4 weeks. She has been absolutely amazing. She is super friendly and a real asset to surrey
physio. She really deserves a pay rise. Thanks.
I am currently
being treated for a back problem by Ben Coffey whom I cannot praise highly enough. From my very
first treatment I experienced an improvement which is still continuing.
I believe I have a further 2 treatments available under the NHS referral scheme and should there be a need for any more I will be straight back to my GP for a further referral. My first treatment which I sought was actually a private one for which I only waited 2 days to be seen by Ben. I believe this is an excellent 'NHS Initiative’ which in my opinon has certainly improved patient care. Once again many thanks.
My name is
Brian Worley and I was recently referred to Jack by the Giffard Drive Surgery for treatment to
my lower back (deterioration of the sacro illiac joints).I subsequently had a fall, badly
bruising my left hip and leg.
I would like to thank Jack for the excellent treatment for both problems and am now virtually pain free and able to walk much better. Once again, many thanks.
I just wanted to say how impressed I was with Nico's support / service. He gave me really good
practical tips, was very good at making me feel at ease, and best of all sorted my knee out.
Highly recommend him / Surrey Physio and will be using you guys again when I inevitably injure myself in the future. Many thanks.
Dear Lorraine, I have
just finished five sessions with Jack at Giffard Drive Surgery, Farnborough Hampshire. I was referred by
my Gp for treatment on my right hip and was very pleased that these were available under the NHS as private
treatment would not have been affordable for me. The fact that a local surgery instead of a large hospital was
offered meant that it was convenient and that my appointment could fit in with my work schedule I found Jack
to be a very professional young man with excellent time keeping and a manor that put me at ease. He gave me
excercises each session increasing the difficulty at my pace. He gave me advise on things I could do long term
to improve my situation and after five session my hip has greatly improved avoiding an operation in the near
future. Could you thank Jack on my behalf.
I was referred to
Surrey physio after several months of debillitating back pain. The approach was practical for my
lifestyle and I always felt the physios took time to ask whether exercises had worked during the week.
His mixture of stretching, manipulation and acupuncture worked amazingly well for me culminating in a
massive improvement in a matter of weeks. He was always really encouraging and I appreciated his confidence
that working together we could improve my symptoms. I would recommend the Surrey Physio team to anyone with
back pain - l had already had injections into my spine with little improvement but you guys managed to get
me exercising, choosing manageable activities and exercises and reduced my pain from a 10 down to below 2
and still improving. Thanks again Surrey Physio!
Over the past 2 years our
patients have received a prompt, responsive and excellent service with Ben and Jack from Surrey Physio. Patient
feedback is very positive and the service is well liked by our clients. I am unaware of any adverse outcomes.
They have increasingly become an integral part of the team here at Giffard Drive. Written feedback following the
completion of physiotherapy is informative and well written, Saturday appointments have been particularly well
received by our patients who work outside of the distict.
Both Ben and Jack are friendly, approachable and more than happy to advise formally and informally about difficult cases and the appropriateness of fit for prospective referrals and regarding rehabilitation of physical problems. They are a pleasure to have around the practice.
I hope we can expand the scope and role of front line physiotherapy with Surrey Physio in the future, particularly in the roles of triage and first clinician contact.

Hi Leila. Would you
please pass on a big fat ‘THANK YOU’ to Martin. He deserves 10 brownie points.
I had 6 hours solid sleep last night. I’ve currently no pains in my arms, just a manageable discomfort in my back. Feel I’ve got my smile back :)
Hi Surrey Physio. Thank
you so much for all the help and physio you have given me since my road traffic accident in July. Couldn't
have done this and come this far without you, your awesome at your job, very patient and have been amazing
and reassuring through the whole of my recovery and treatment. Many thanks.
I’ve just finished
the physio treatment provided on the NHS at your Aldershot branch.
I want to commend Jack who has provided very effective treatment in a friendly, professional manner. He really is a credit to your organisation.
I had a tremendously
painful right shoulder, it came out of nowhere – I couldn’t move it and it was extremely painful, I went
to A&E which showed what seemed to be an extra piece of bone on my shoulder. My GP hadn’t really got
a clue and was referring me to the specialist, which was going to take several weeks. I went to see
Julie at Surrey physio. I explained the issue, she instantly put me at ease – being my first time at a
physio, she asked a lot of questions and she suspected a build up of calcium deposits from when I played
county badminton – over 20 years previously, which the specialist finally confirmed a few weeks later.
After a series of treatments with Julie and exercises she gave me to do at home the pain left me very
fast. By the 2nd time I saw the specialist the calcium deposits had gone (after they had said I would l
probably need an operation to scrape it off my bone) and I had full working use of my am again. The
specialists were surprised to see it had disappeared entirely and they said that the only potential
explanation for this was the physio treatment that I had been receiving as I was only taking painkillers
to that point.
Julie was fantastic, she always understood my pain threshold, firm but gentle, she developed my treatments as I got better and she was always very friendly and professional, as were the whole gang there whenever I saw them. In a weird way I wish I still had some pain so I could keep going. You don’t get that often – people wanting to have pain to be able to go and see their physiotherapist. I would highly recommend Surrey Physio. They saved my pain, they saved me having an operation and a scar for life. Thank you Julie and the Gang at Surrey Physio.
I was recently
referred to Surrey Physio centre by my GP as I had an on going ankle injury. Once I got there for the
first time the staff were so helpful. Starting from the receptionist all the way up to the
Physiotherapist who was brilliant. He helped me to over come my problem and his advise was very useful
and very helpful. The service was great. I would like to send out a great thank you to the staff at
Surrey Physio and most especially to my ex physiotherapist Martin whose surname I did not get. Thank you
for such a great service.
I was referred by my
Doctor for physiotherapy treatment following a hip replacement that had remained painful for over a
year. I received treatment from Martin who gave me exercises, helpful advice, and was very patient and
informative throughout. Thank you Martin. My hip problem/walking has improved, and I am confidence this
will continue as I continue with the exercises I have been given.
Thank you to Surrey Physio for excellent treatment and also the doctor for referring me.
Mrs Sheila Jarvis
I was impressed with
my first visit to Surrey Physio, I went in on time to my appointment and found the staff very pleasant.
When I next visit my Doctor I will tell him how good the service was I received.
I was referred to
Surrey Physio through my GP. I was very impressed at how quickly I was offered an appointment, it is
also great that you offer late evening appointments too, because time away from work, especially at the
moment is not appreciated. I have only been for one appointment with Faith Cripps, who was great and
seemed to find my problem straight away. I look forward to seeing her for my second appointment soon.
Service was excellent and punctual. Thank you.
Mrs E Compton
I have recently
finished having treatment referred to you by my GP at Shotfield Health Centre. I saw Martin Bull for the
most of my physiotherapy and he has really helped me with my pelvis. I’m not completely pain free, that
will take time, but Martin gave me exercises to do at home and I’m making progress. Both Martin and
Stuart were extremely helpful and very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.
Dear Surrey Physio,
I would like to thank Mark Archer for the excellent service and the care that was shown to John
especially after his short stay in St Helier Hospital after collapsing on me and hurting his back.
I was seen by my
G.P. on a Friday morning and had a phone call the next day asking me to arrange an appointment to see a
physio. I was given one about a week later. I found the Physio very helpful and he explained the problem
with my shoulder and what exercises I should do. I have a follow up appointment in about two week
I am very satisfied with the service.
I have been
attending your clinic for 5 sessions after a referral from my GP, Dr R Dowding, The Knoll Cheam Village.
I have been seeing your physiotherapist – Martin, who has been most helpful in trying to remedy my
complaint. I have been happy with the service that I have received. Many Thanks.
I am writing after
yesterday completing four sessions of assessment and treatment with you for my thoracic spine problems.
Thank you very much for a thoroughly professional service. I really valued the opportunity of early appointments 7.30-8am, and was seen promptly on each occasion. Most importantly you identified my problem and have made a huge difference over 6 weeks to the point where I feel confident I can manage it ok with the aid of the exercises you have shown me, Thanks again
Sean Hilton Deputy Principal and Professor of Primary Care St. George’s, University of London
I was recently
treated at the Surrey Physio. I had severe shin pain whenever I ran in football boots which the Physio,
Martin thought was due to tight calves. I was very impressed with the professional service that I
received and the quickness of appointments and waiting times. The treatment seemed to be going well and
when I returned to football 3/4 weeks later I had no problems for 2 weeks and was therefore discharged
from the clinic. Many Thanks.
I have made 2 visits
to Surrey Physio and so far I am very happy with the service you have provided. The receptionist was
most welcoming and helpful. Stuart and Martin were very kind and gave me excellent treatment.
Dear Tim, Thank you
for your excellent treatment centre. The reception area is very comfortable and clean and the
receptionists polite and caring. Mark Archer the physiotherapist is very good. John has only had two
sessions of physiotherapy on his neck and he said that after the 2nd session his neck felt much better
and he could turn his neck a lot easier. There is no problem with parking and with public transport it
is very easy as several bus routes pass the entrance to Mint House. Thanks for all your help.
Mrs Joyce Springs
I had my first
physio session with Martin yesterday so I wanted to say how impressed I was with your staff. He was
attentive and explained things well, and I was happy with the treatment.
Just to let you know
that I am sat straight at my desk (no crossed legs) and at the moment there are no ill effects from
I wanted to say thank you so very much for all your help and support over the past 6 months. Progress
was so slow to start with initial treatment before Surrey Physio and I feel very luck to have been sent
to you. You have a wonderful empathy with your clients and a really positive energy that can’t but fail
to rub off.
I will genuinely be sad to finish next week!
I would just like to
thank Mark and the rest of the team for my recent treatment at Surrey Physio. My back is much better
now. I was also grateful for your friendly and relaxed approach. I would recommend your service highly.

Just a short note to
thank the Surrey Physio team, and especially my physio Stuart for his helpful back massaging treatment.
Thankfully my back seems a lot better, and is improving very well so I am not taking nay pain killing
tablets. Hopefully I will not have to return for more treatment in the future!

Dear Mr Allardyce,
I would like to thank you and your excellent staff at the Surrey Physio centre for the care which I
received. The physio that I saw on my visits was Gitte. I was seen on time, and with respect. Had I been
a private patient, I could not have been treated any better. I have informed my G.P. Once again, thank
I am writing to say
thank you for your excellent service at Surrey Physio, I found the staff to be pleasant and friendly,
your waiting room clean and comfortable, and I liked that fact that your consulting rooms are rooms, and
not just a cubicle with a curtain drawn across. I was contacted by a member of your staff the day after
my doctor faxed a referral letter to you, and was offered an appointment within a few days. All in all,
I was very pleased with your excellent service.
Rather unusually, I
am taking time to put pen to paper to thank, congratulate, and wish you all well at Surrey Physio. As
you know, I needed to see Mark today and he is officially in my GOD category – he fixed me today good
and proper and I am convinced he can walk on water. Lorraine is delightful and always makes time to have
a chat with me when I visit no matter how busy she is. It is clear she runs your office so efficiently I
was wondering if you could allow her to work for me, lets say 35 hours a week? (I am sure she would
agree?). Seriously though Tim, thank you to you all for everything that you have done and continue to do
to help me maintain this irritating back problem I have. I just want to wish you all the very best for
With kind regards, and best wishes,
I would like to
assure you that I was very favourably impressed with both the concern Mark showed me for my ailing knee
and the professional expertise he demonstrated in dealing with it. In fact, I was not looking for
promises, and as Mark said, the problem has not gone away. But the treatment I received was soothing and
made me much more aware of movements I have to avoid – which means I have so far managed to avoid those
painful moments that made me seek help through my G.P., Dr. Goel. Hence, my best wishes to Surrey
Physio. I do hope your staff will strive to maintain the present standards. Mark, friendly and
impeccably polite at the same time, was equally intent on exercise and giving pointed explanations –
which is no doubt the best method to make the patient feel that he is being treated as an individual.

Hi. I have just been
discharged by my physio after three months of treatment for sciatica-type pains. The treatment was
conscientiously performed; it has led to a gradual reduction, and finally elimination of the pains. It
is a pleasure to be able to feel normal again after the crippling pains I had before the treatment
May I wish you all well at your new treatment centre.
I just wanted to
give my feedback. I found the help from the physiotherapist really made a difference to my wrist injury
I’d sustained at the gym. She took time to closely assess my arm, identifying the nature of the damage
as muscular, and then gave me a series of exercises to help strengthen my wrist. She explained
everything in a clear and friendly way, and the exercises have been really effective in hastening my
recovery. I’d spent months without improvement and am so pleased to see things move forward now. Thanks
so much for all your help.

I recently had some
physio at your clinic and found it, and the advice given very helpful. My physio was given by Martin
Bull who gave me some good tips and also advised me on what to carry on doing. Thanking you once again,
Mrs E.D. Cohen
I have been
attending the physio clinic for the last 6 weeks. The treatment I have been given by Martin has been
excellent and my condition has greatly improved due to his knowledge and attention. I would also wish to
say that Lorraine and all concerned have been so very kind and helpful and I would certainly attend
again if it is deemed necessary.
I would like to
recommend Surrey Physio to everyone. I broke my right foot four years ago and I was in a lot of pain the
doctor said I should go to you and you have helped me a lot with the pain and with the help of Marine I
am now in less pain I am walking a lot better. So I am telling any one that needs to go there and get
help and the people are very nice.
Mrs M. Evans
I recently completed
a course of treatment with your physio Mark Archer. I found all the staff and of course mark extremely
pleasant and helpful. I am now free of pain and on my way to getting fit again. Thank you Surrey Physio.
